In the early 1980s, I entered the family-run hotel business. It was there that I first discovered how art and entrepreneurship could harmonize. I began painting and exhibiting my work in the hotel’s gallery space—transforming creativity into connection with guests from around the world. Over the years, I participated in more than forty group exhibitions locally, and attended many more across Europe, Asia, Africa, and the Americas. These were inspiring and formative years, full of exchange with fellow artists and art lovers from diverse backgrounds. Interestingly, my first formal engagement with large-scale painting came during my military service. Assigned to paint military buildings and installations, I quickly gained a reputation as the camp’s unofficial “art director.” I was entrusted with creating murals and decorations for events, adding beauty and imagination to an otherwise rigid environment.
